Find out how you can make your business more successful and profitable, and how it compares to similar businesses.
Every business is unique and faces different challenges. If you are not already monitoring your business performance, or want an objective look at your business, speak with your SCWBC business coach about obtaining a Business Assessment. Our on-site Business Assessment takes a systematic look at all of your business processes in about two hours. The assessor will first ask you to complete a questionnaire about various aspects of your business, including some baseline information on sales and employees, management, marketing, finances, and processes. Next, one or two assessors will visit your business. After a brief tour, they will ask you another series of in-depth questions about your business. This on-site visit takes around two to three hours. The assessor summarizes the findings and enters the assessment data into the SCWBC competitive database. You will receive a detailed report that includes: - Status of each of the main areas of business management
- List of challenges to be addressed
- Performance scores and comparisons against similar and best-in-class businesses
- Recommendations to address the critical business challenges
The assessor will present and explain the Business Assessment report in detail. At this point, you will have a clear, objective view of your business performance and how it compares to other businesses. You will learn exactly what steps you can take to create a more successful and profitable business. If you would like for the SCWBC to help you address some of the challenging areas of the business, the assessor may present a proposal for services. You are under no obligation to purchase additional services from the SCWBC. The Business Assessment service is valued at over $1200. Because the SCWBC is funded through several government grants, we are currently able to offer the Business Assessment service for a small fee of $50. To get started, speak with your business coach about having a Business Assessment. If you are not already working with a SCWBC business coach, request a consultation. |
