The SCWBC business coach helps you complete and polish your business plan.

Once you have written a business plan, or gone as far as you can with it, schedule a consultation with a SCWBC business coach.  The first session generally lasts about two hours, and you can choose whether to meet in person or on the phone.  The business coach will review your business plan and recommend changes.  Sometimes a resource may be needed, such as marketing research, in order to complete the business plan; and the business coach will help you find the best resource to fulfill those needs.

Because the SCWBC is funded through several government grants, these coaching sessions, which are worth $100 per hour, are available to you at no charge.  Sometimes the business coach may suggest the use of outside resources to help you in your business.  If there are costs for those services, you will be informed ahead of time, and you are never under any obligation to utilize those services.

The SCWBC is committed to helping you succeed and wants to partner with you for the life of your business.  This means the business coach will provide ongoing support after your business plan is complete, such as helping you find a loan, prepare operating plans, and develop a marketing plan. The business coach is trained to assist you in many areas, including marketing plans, operations, human resources, manufacturing, government procurement, accounting, computers, doing business on the internet, and much more.
