Rhythmlink International, LLC, of Columbia, SC, was announced co-winner of the Small Enterprise Award for the 2007 Palmetto Pillar Technology Awards presented by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Information Technology Council (ITC) May 17. The Small Enterprise Award recognizes a small business entity, defined as an organization with fewer than 50 full-time employees or less than $20 million in revenue, for the innovative application or development of a technology-based product, process or service.

The Small Enterprise Award recognizes a small business entity, defined as an organization with fewer than 50 full-time employees or less than $20 million in revenue, for the innovative application or development of a technology-based product, process or service. Rhythmlink was founded in 2002 by Brett Netherton, Michael O’Leary and Shawn Regan, to design, manufacture, and distribute neurodiagnostic accessories that monitor patients’ central and peripheral nervous systems during surgeries. Rhythmlink sold its first product in April 2003. Since opening, both distribution and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers have appreciated products of uncompromising quality and service that is unmatched in its responsiveness. This reputation and commitment to technical excellence has enabled Rhythmlink to maintain leadership in all of the markets served. Columbia’s Information Technology Council (ITC) was formed in 2000 by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce to serve the greater Columbia Region. The ITC reaches out to, acknowledges and embraces all who are involved in the IT community.
